Telescopic forklifts
Telescopic lift trucks provide height and versatility. These models are equipped with a pronged lift on an arm that extends over the top of the truck. The crane, or arm, is known as a telescopic boom. The boom enables the individual utilizing it to raise the load to great heights while maintaining a high degree of control. Regular forklifts can not move the load towards and away from the cab of the forklift, whereas a telescopic forklift allows that movement. The telescopic forklift is normally utilized in agriculture and construction. It is better for applications where greater control and lift is needed.
A forklift carton clamp attachments are better in cases requiring high volume carton handling. The attachment has arm pads with four way reversible rubber linings which allow the operator to use uniform clamping force when picking up a load. It comes with a backrest that protects the cargo from damage.
A slip sheet attachment fits onto a slip sheet forklift. It is used for storing systems that don't utilize pallets. The attachment clamps onto the slip sheet and pulls it onto the forklift forks. This kind of system is handy for overseas shipments and intra-corporate deliveries.
A lift platform which is meant to raise workers is referred to as a Man Basket. It attaches to the forks on the forklift and a strap or chain is used to attach the basket to the lift truck carriage. The platform has railings to protect the employees from falling to the ground. Brackets on the platform are utilized for fastening the safety harness of the worker.
