A reach stacker is a vehicle designed to handle the movement of containerized cargo in medium and small-sized ports and terminals. Reach stackers are perfect for quickly shuttling containers short distances and stacking them in rows.

Reach stackers are a popular choice for handling intermodal cargo containers due to their flexibility. They are capable of stacking higher than forklift trucks. With a reach stacker capable of second row access, container blocks could be kept four-deep.

A different version of the stacker is made to handle empty containers only.
