Used Skyjack Boom Lifts Fremont

Skyjack began to make scissor lift platforms back in the year 1986. The company continued to manufacture their product through the 1990s, becoming a world leader in the aerial lift industry sector. Eventually, Skyjack grew to over 30% market share overall. Even today, the company maintains their dominance as an important player who has quickly adapted to the changing face of the industrial equipment industry.

Factors like their commitment to dependability and quality have been key to Skyjacks solid reputation. They are known worldwide as being the manufacturer of the best scissor lifts within the world. The Skyjack product series is manufactured and sold all around the world.

Linamar Corporation, referred to as LNR on the TSX, bought Skyjack during August the year 2002. Linamar is best known for its production of assemblies, modules and precision-machined components. Linamar's solid balance sheet offers Skyjack with increased strength and long-term stability in general. Skyjack presently has production plants in Hungary, the US and Fremont with support offices within Asia and Europe.

The company offers a comprehensive line of self-propelled scissor lifts. Some models have elevated work heights up to 56ft. Skyjack became a leader within the business by providing machinery features which combined serviceability, durability, quality and service, making Skyjack scissor lifts recognized all over the globe for product reliability. The company's present Boom lift model lineup consists of telescopic booms. These models offer telescopic booms which feature work heights ranging from 45 to 71 feet. The company plans further expand the boom lift product line in the future.

In August 2007, the acquisition of Volvo's Material Handling Equipment business complements the acquisition of Carelift Equipment. This business purchase expands Skyjack's Telehandler product offering leading to the additional VR series telehandlers and the Zoom Boom series. These acquisitions provide the company a chance to grow with the additional manufacturing capacity. Skyjack continues to lead the way within the industry, providing reliable lift solutions.
