Combilift is a company that was originally started by engineers Robert Moffett and Martin McVicar. They had more than 40 years of engineering experience between them when they initially founded the business during 1998 in Monaghan, Ireland. In just over ten years, Combilift became a leader in the worldwide long-load handling market, delivering machines to over 50 markets all over the globe. Supported by a trusted international network of distributors that have helped expand distribution into many markets around the globe and utilizing their extensive knowledge and experience, Moffett and McVicar have created equipment that are in high demand and had sold 10,000 models by mid 2009.
