End Control Forklifts
The stand-up end control forklift is an extremely flexible equipment and is common in the material handling industry. These machinery have superior performance characteristics which are quite like sit-down electric lift truck units.
These lift truck units are great for warehouse environments which have limited space. The space needed to operate these machines are less than the three-wheel electric lift truck truck requirements. These machinery are an excellent option for applications that need regular off and on access, since their stand-up design is an excellent feature.
The reach truck is a loading device used by various businesses who maintain a storage facility which involves the arrangement of finished goods on pallets and materials that are stored or stacked into tall shelving compartments. The reach truck provides safe and simple retrieval of the loaded pallets. It is also an excellent choice for people who prefer to store pallets of products they do not require yet in a way which is both efficient and safe.
All standard reach truck models would have an out-rigging mechanism secured to the front of the machinery. Telescoping forks are mounted to the out-rigging and can move down and up. The blades also include a hydraulic system that enables the operator to lift the load and reposition it over the out-riggers. This particular design not only offers much more balance to the overall load, but makes it easier for the reach truck to move into narrow aisles between the storage shelves.
After the reach truck finds the shelves which are designated for the pallet, the hydraulics enable the tines to swing into place and lower the pallet into the shelving, sliding the pallet into place. Normally, a reach truck would easily fit into an aisle which is less than 10 feet across without problems, so long as there are no other pallets protruding out from the shelving area.
