Use a Pneumatic Forklift
You could often find pneumatic forklifts in warehouses and shipping operations. Also called pallet trucks or pump trucks, they are utilized to move things and materials around on wooden pallets utilizing metal forks mounted on a wheeled counterweight. The counterweight has a pump which can lift the forks off the ground. A pallet truck is designed to be operated by one individual.
To be able to avoid loosing control while raising heavy loads, pallet trucks must always be operated with care. Equipment must be inspected prior to operating. Clear the wheels area of any obstacle. Check that the handle turns smoothly. The pallet must be carefully stacked to guarantee that nothing would fall off during transportation.
On the end of the pallet truck's handle, squeeze the level found on the inside of the metal loop in order to lower the forks and release the air in the pump. The forks can then be pushed into the slots of the pallet. The forks should be at the center in order to ensure equal distribution of the pallet's weight across them. Lift the forks from the ground by pumping the pneumatic lift's handle until the pallet has cleared the ground completely. Do not raise the pallet very high or the forklift can unbalance.
Move the pallet by pulling on the handle and then dragging it behind you. It is dangerous to push the pallet in front of you since the thrust can cause it to lose control. Slowly take turns and don't try to stop abruptly. Gradually stop, squeeze the lever, and the forks would lower to the ground. Finally, remove the forks from the pallet by pulling them out. Return the pallet truck to its permanent location.
